Meet Mrs. Rainey Coffman
Hi, my name is Mrs. Rainey Coffman, and I am one of the 3rd Grade Spotlight Teachers, along with Mrs. Missy Watson, at Lewisburg Elementary School.
I am originally from Louisville, MS, where I attended Winston Academy for grades K-12. After graduating from Winston Academy, I moved to Starkville where I attended Mississippi State University. There, I received my Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree from the College of Architecture, Art, and Design. After completing my degree in Fine Arts, I continued my education to become certified in both art and gifted. In 2015, I received my National Boards Certification for Teaching! I have been teaching Spotlight at Lewisburg since 2010 and look forward to the many years to come!
My husband, Cory, is the Program Director for CLIMB (Community Living in Mississippi - Baddour) in Senatobia, MS which is a center for adults with intellectual disabilities. We have been married since 2011, have a Boston Terrier named Ziggie, and we are so excited to announce that we are expecting a baby girl, Sadie Caroline, in May!
Here are a few of my favorite things!
